Spine CPD Workshop 
Crowne Plaza Queenstown, 6 - 7 July 2024

This Workshop is open to consultants with an interest in Spinal Surgery as active participants, and trainees in a non-presenting capacity. The provisional program will include short didactic talks, discussion sessions on contentious management issues and operative strategies for difficult cases, focused in 2024 on cervical spine and spinal trauma.  It is designed to be a forum of discussion and debate.  Consultant delegates attending will be selected by the convenors to present on selected topics within the themes during the Workshop. The Workshop will be convened by Associate Professor Mitchell Hansen (Neurosurgeon) and Dr Rob Kuru (Orthopaedic Surgeon). 

This Workshop is during the peak ski season, so demand is extremely high for flights and accommodation. As such, we recommend that those planning to attend book early.

Accommodation 

Special accommodation rates have been negotiated at the Crowne Plaza in Queenstown.

All rates quoted are in New Zealand Dollars and includes 15% GST.

The rates are available on a first come, first serve basis. Room rates are available until Wednesday, 5 June 2024 (or until sold out whichever comes first) after this time the special rates will no longer be available therefore we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. 

Cancellation policy:
14 or more days prior to arrival: Individual cancellations may be made at this stage without any cancellation penalty.
Between 14 – 4 days prior to arrival: Any cancellation will incur a 1 night’s cancellation penalty.
Within 3 days before arrival: Any cancellation will incur a full cancellation penalty.
